For this project, we built our own CNC machine using arduino. The machine have a metal frame for support, resin legs, and resin supports for the stepper motors. It also have sensors on the side so it can home itself and they won't let the motors go off the frame. The arduino is connected to a shield that lets your plug all three motors into it and also protects the arduino from shorts. The Pen Plotter also has a holder for a marker which allowed us to draw images. For the images we used Fusion 360 and wrote our own G Code for the designs we wanted.
